So, when you buy a 1200 lb, 7′ long letterpress, a type cabinet, a set of galleys, a furniture rack, and 2 printers saws, you’ve got to find somewhere to put it!

Living in a tiny apartment in New York City, the garage or the spare bedroom are definitely out. So, I started searching. Craigslist, google, phone calls to everyone I know, those little tear off tags from public bulletin boards. After looking at a lot of spaces I could afford that were the size of shoeboxes, and a lot of really great spaces I couldn’t even come close to affording:
